Milestones experience

A private expression of

MILESTONES

For those who need the depth of Milestones in a smaller setting, Farmhouse offers trauma treatment with more one-to-one support, integrated relational and functional care, and restorative practices woven into each day.

Why

FARMHOUSE?

The Farmhouse is not separate from Milestones. It is Milestones care held intimately — for clients who need more privacy, more discretion, and more room to be closely supported.

Located in a private residence on our Tennessee campus, Farmhouse is designed for up to five guests at a time. The experience helps guests address the source of their wounds, not only the symptoms.

Care is coordinated across every dimension — from structured clinical work and farm-to-table meals to restorative somatic supports — to steady the nervous system and create conditions for healing.

Farmhouse
Farmhouse Rhythm

For those who need
support shaped around

THEIR STORY.

Farmhouse is designed for adults whose primary clinical work is emotional and relational trauma and who would benefit  from the depth of Milestones in a smaller residential setting.

Seeking more discretion and ease

Experience treatment that prioritizes comfort, flexibility, and meaningful progress.

Leaders, creatives, and public-facing individuals

Build lasting relationships in an environment designed for growth and support.

Complex emotional or relational trauma

Work one-on-one with experienced clinicians who understand your goals.

Seeking family or relational repair

Every treatment plan is built around your unique needs and experiences.

Our clinical

PHILOSOPHY

The goal is not simply relief. It is to help guests understand their wounds, how they have shaped their patterns, and what kind of support is needed for healing to hold beyond the stay.

Rooted in Milestones’ deep clinical experience in trauma treatment, Farmhouse is built on the belief that trauma affects the whole person. Care is coordinated across the full experience so emotional, relational, physical, and psychological healing can be supported over time.

The

EXPERIENCE

Individual Therapy

Three therapy sessions each week, with dedicated one-to-one time for the work that needs closer attention.

Whole-Person Evaluation

Functional medicine and psychological diagnostic evaluations help the care team understand the full picture — emotional, relational, physical, and psychological.

Relational Intensives

2-day Family or couples intensives are included every 30 days, allowing communication, repair, and integration to happen while care is still active.

Group Therapy

Healing happens in community. Group therapy offers a safe and supportive setting for guests to be seen, challenged, and connected.

Equine Therapy

Both individual and group equine therapy are built into the Farmhouse experience, offering another way to explore trust, boundaries, and connection.

A private residence,

SET APART.

Farmhouse offers a smaller residential setting for clients who need comfort, discretion, and ease while remaining connected to the depth of Milestones care.

Gracious accommodations designed for rest and personal space.

Dedicated Bathrooms

A greater sense of ease, comfort, and dignity throughout the stay.

Quiet Residential Setting

A house designed for up to five guests, set apart while still connected to the Milestones care model.

Details Chosen with Care

Every room, rhythm, and shared space is considered in support of the work happening throughout the stay.

A table set with

INTENTION.

Around the table, nourishment becomes part of the experience — a way to slow down, be cared for, and return to the body.

Farmhouse brings the care of the kitchen into the rhythm of healing, with meals designed to support the body throughout the stay.

Beyond the

THERAPY ROOM.

At Farmhouse, care extends into the rhythm of the day. Movement, nourishment, rest, body-based support, and restorative spaces help create conditions where the nervous system can settle and deeper work can be supported.

Body-Based Support

Weekly therapeutic massage, daily vibroacoustic therapy, sauna, cold plunge, support rest, recovery, and nervous system regulation.

Movement

A private gym, walking paths, and open air create space for movement, reflection, and time outside of a room.

Rest

Quiet spaces throughout the house and property allow guests to pause, reflect, and integrate the work of treatment.

How Farmhouse extends

Every person has a story. This place does, too.

Farmhouse is rooted in the life of the land, the story of Milestones, and the belief that deeper work needs the right conditions to take root.

The Farmhouse mark brings together two symbols rooted in the life of the land: the horseshoe and the maypop. The horseshoe grounds us in strength, presence, and the quiet wisdom of the herd. The maypop, Tennessee’s native passionflower, carries a story of resilience, complexity, and return.

Donec vitae sapien ut It grows where the ground has been disturbed, reminding us that beauty and renewal do not require perfect conditions, only the right ones.

Together, they reflect the heart of Farmhouse: a deeply personal experience where care is shaped so deeper work has room to take root. .

What is a typical day like at Farmhouse?

We believe that your story is unique, so your treatment should be, too. The innovative Farmhouse experience is customizable to meet your individual needs. It is structured, yet flexible in a “home away from home” environment to accommodate each participant’s unique strengths, abilities, needs, and goals.

Each day is specialized for each client. There is no “cookie-cutter” day at Farmhouse because we believe your care should be as unique as you are.

A typical day might include lectures, group sessions, adventure therapy, individual therapeutic work, meditation, farm-to-table meals prepared by our private chef, yoga, 12 Step Meetings, equine therapy, gym time, self-care time, educational forum, experiential therapy, music therapy, spirituality exploration, and more.
